California Vacation

Just a quick post from my recent trip to California. My 81-year-old mother-in-law has wanted to go to Disneyland and the beach for the last five years with some of her grandchildren. We finally were able to take her down to California for what will probably be her last major trip due to her age and declining health. It was a short quick trip of just a couple of days but the weather was nice and the trip was enjoyable.

Vegas Vacation

Last week I escaped the cold and snow of Utah and drove down to Las Vegas to golf, lay by the pool and relax.  As I work way too hard for my money to donate it to the Las Vegas Casinos, I spent most of my time seeing the other sights around the area. Took the family to Hoover Dam, which I had never seen before, did a lot of shopping for clothes and spent time at the Desert Hills Golf Club, which was really nice by the way and just relaxed. But of course I couldn't resist taking photos. So here are a few of my favorites from the trip.
